Partners In Grimes is a team composed of real estate professionals with diverse experiences and perspectives. Collectively, we represent over 47 years of combined experience and more than $150,000,000 in sales volume.

Chris Grimes moved from Atlanta to Nashville in 2012 with his best friend. A favored keyboardist and arranger in churches and studios around Atlanta, Chris was hired to tour with a country music prodigy. When he stepped away from his music career in late 2013, he decided to build a career on his pre-touring experience in small business management and insurance auditing. Chris earned his Tennessee real estate license in 2014, his broker license in 2018, and started Partners In Grimes with John and Joey in 2022.

John Grimes has been a resident of Nashville since 1996, and is known to be among the best of Nashville’s most acclaimed hairstylists and colorists. He came to Nashville for college, studying music business management at MTSU. In 2010, John opened the James Gang Co Cafe in Whites Creek, expanding his relationship with the entertainment industry and building on his experience with marketing and business strategy. His creative perspective and gift of design has been an asset to clients preparing and marketing their homes. John earned his real estate license in 2019 and was awarded Rookie of the Year by his brokerage for his performance as the top producer among new licensees.

Joey Skibbie grew up in Nashville, graduating from Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet High School. He is a talented basketball athlete and a team player on and off the court. Joey’s fresh perspective gives the team a unique viewpoint of the ever-growing areas of Davidson and Williamson counties. After college, Joey grew a lucrative career in the service industry where he met Chris and John. Chris asked Joey to let him know if he ever considered a career in real estate. When Joey earned his license in 2021, Chris and John were elated. A short while later, Chris, John, and Joey formed a team they would call Partners In Grimes.

Jackie Roth Karr grew up in Nashville and raised her sons in our wonderful city. Jackie earned her real estate license in 2005 and is recognized as a top producer amongst her peers - recognized by Nashville Real Producers and her brokerage. She also joined Rodan & Fields Dermatologists in 2008 - and is now a Level V Executive Leader. Entrepreneurism is in her blood, and she is passionate about using all of her insight and talents to position her clients for success. Jackie first met John Grimes and became a hair client of John’s 2007. She met Chris in 2014 when he entered the local real estate market, and she joined Partners In Grimes in December of 2022.

Larissa Farley was born and raised in Georgia, moving to Nashville in 2012 after losing her husband to cancer. She has been an investor in businesses and has crafted a successful career in real estate where she can use her many gifts to help clients selling and buying real estate - especially from an investment standpoint. Larissa has earned the distinguished designation of GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute) and has earned her ACP (Accredited Commercial Practitioner) designation. Along with her colleagues, Chris and John can both personally attest to Larissa’s tenacious drive as a solution creator.

Our team was formed in April of 2022. Since our affiliation with Corcoran Reverie, we have been expanding our service territory beyond Middle Tennessee - eastward into the Cumberland Plateau, westward towards Memphis, and southward towards Chattanooga.
